“Transition” is when you move from high school to college or work. You will also have a transition team of you, your family, and your teachers to help you make goals and plans.
When you go to high school, you need to think about what you want for your future. Then, you can start making plans with your team. For example, if you want to work in a restaurant, then your teacher can help you take cooking classes in high school. You might also want to look at college programs that teach cooking or try to get a job at a bakery in high school to prepare. You have lots of choices, and you also need a plan to reach your goals.
